First Drop

First Drop Mother’s Ruin

This here is a classic Cabernet according to the wine wise Peter Bourne. “Crimson-purple; rich, warm and inviting with lush and juicy cassis, plum and blackcurrant fruit.” so says James Halliday. It appears that I am in good company when enjoying this elegant varietal style.

Maybe it shouldn’t matter, but well it just bloody well does, the label – these guys smash out some outstanding wines then bottle them so brilliantly you can’t help but feel just a little bit unique cracking open this old world London scene.

The walls surrounding me are a dark velvet red; the chair is an old brown leather, and my feet are propped on the chipped mahogany coffee table – a real English winter’s red. Mother wouldn’t mind a bit.
