Made from fruit grown on the Williams family vineyard in Southern Coonawarra, the grapes were picked later than usual following a slightly cooler and wetter growing season in 2017. Fermentation took place in static fermenters before maturation in French oak followed by final blending and bottling.
The Coonawarra Series Cabernet Sauvignon is made in a ripe and generous style, yet with enough restraint to display distinct varietal and regional characteristics.
92 Points –
Aromas of plum and spice with tobacco and mint undertones. Dried fruit and figs. Medium body, firm and silky tannins and a tangy finish.

90 Points –
Rock-solid Coonawarra Cabernet that rarely misses a beat. A good buy for the money. All the expected varietal characteristics parade for attention. Roasted peppers and cigar box notes do their best to stand out. Smooth fruit through the mouth before a dusty finish.
