Bianco Cantine Lenotti

Grape: 50% Garganega 50% Cortese
Region: Veneto

Producer Info:
Stepping into Lenotti’s small tasting room in Bardolino, on the Western shores of Lake Garda, it doesn’t take long to begin to appreciate the hospitality that this family has coursing through their veins. They are also fiercely proud of their district and the wines it produces, mainly the corvina-based reds of Bardolino and Valpolicella. One of the highest points in the Bardolino hills is covered not in Corvina, but in the Garganega and Cortese which build our Lenotti Bianco. Excellent exposure and very well drained gravel soil ripen these local white varieties to show exactly the intense aromatics that we love in summer white wines in Australia

Tasting note:
An intense, heady aromatic nose of gooseberry, white flowers and yellow grapefruit squeezed on kiwi and passion fruit. Meringue-like white sugar, too. The palate is pulpy and hits all the right tangy, crunchy notes. Just a delicious white wine
